suggest a picnic and bring the crawler just incase and then play dumb and "say look honey whats that group of nice respectable guys doing over there i might just go have a look" and then bingo your at the comp having the a great day and the rest of the family is out in the fresh air having a good time too

P.S. Do i need to water proof the rig?

No water proofing needed Jay...Generally none of the courses have water deeper than 1/2-3/4 of a tyre.

ok..... So can someone who's sort of organising this, give us another run down of times etc and meeting times, blah blah blah, just so we are all accurate on our timings.

So it starts at 8:30am, becuase I'm travelling a bit longer than everyone, what time are most of you getting there before hand?

I dont know about travelling further than everyone Jay, I have a 4hr drive to get there lol.

here's a spanner question regarding rules i'm not 100% sure on.

10.3 All reverses made during a self recovery attempt count as reverse penalties.

.... so am i to understand that if i fall on my side and to try and get it back on its wheels i can only go forward, if i try to spin it backwards then its a reverse penalty?

That is correct.

Every time you reverse, if you are on your wheels or not it is penalty.

Repo is the bigest problem 15pts... all you have to do is work out what is best.... some time reversing can get you into a lot more drama than taking the repo

Where exactally at Simpson are we meeting?

I'm out for 2.2 as well...looks like i snapped a rear axle this arvo testing.

You can park at 2 locations
1. 1st car park at Simpson Falls picnic area
2. On Simpson Rd near Sir Samuel Griffith Dve

If you park at 1, the easiset way to the comp site is to walk down the bank and along the creek, under the bridge and you are there.... about 150 meters

If you park at area 2 you will have to walk down a steep inbankment 20-30 meters and you are there.

Hopefully, I will be there by about 8.15.
