Good servo
Ok kids what's a good steering servo that doesn't cost the earth .i have a savox 1256tg I think it has lasted about two months and it's doing the shimmy shimmy shake at stand still only 30 day warranty.

With servo's you get what you pay for 90% of the time. Savox is generally pretty good bang for buck. Failures are relatively rare which make it a bit interesting that yours shite itself.
I run hitec in all my crawlers the 7954 seems to be the best bang for buck in the hitecs at the moment. Just make sure you're running a external 10amp bec, cause they need it.
If you want to be cheap, check out bluebird servos on hobbyking.com. Quality can be hit and miss, but if you get a good one, they're worth it.

I just got one of those Savox servos so will see how long it lasts for me. I hear the hitec servos are good but have never had any experience with them myself. I see they do one with 46 kg of torque.

I might give the hotel a go then . It's just disappointing to buy what's supposed to be a good one and it turns out to be a piece of shite I probely got 4 runs out of it and it cost $78 .

hitec is what i use 7954 $60 at aussiehobbies 654mg $40 ,
i use to run 654mg's in my outlaw & for the price are a great servo
for how i treat em i could never justify the $$$ that other people would throw at em...
dont get me wrong ive had plenty of failures , but you've seen my skills

WOW thats cheap for the 7954. Everywhere I was looking at were about $80+. Might have to stop in at aussiehobbies and pick one as a spare.

yeah & if thats not enough i said to him ill give ya $50 & he said ok so yeah i grabbed 1 for a spare....
