Hey guys, my name is Ned. I'm 16 and live in the Ipswich area. I caught the scale crawler bug around August last year and have been hooked since. I bought a SCX10 kit in September and had a ball, but a lot of things went wrong with it. Drive shafts broke, my servo buggered up, got them replaced, and they stuffed up a second time. Now with the new Axial scx10 that has just come out and should be hitting Australia soon, I hope to get it as soon as possible. I should hopefully be out there scaling soon.

So if anyone knows of any stores that may have the new SCX10 coming, please let me know. I am also very interested in reasonably priced second hand SCX10 Honcho's, Hilux's or Jeep's.

Apart from the scale crawling hobby, I keep and breed reptiles. I have 15 Pythons, 2 turtles, and many Knob tail geckos. I also have just hatched around 20 hatchling pythons. I'm also apprentice carpenter, and hey, while i let you guys know that, any carpenters out there looking for a second year apprentice, I'm looking for an employer to take me on as my previous employer closed his Business.

Thanks for ready guys, and its nice to meet you's all. Its great to see a website like this, directed to us in the SEQ district.

Thanks for the welcome. I definitely intend to stick around, I wouldn't mind going to check out a few scale events and social runs, once I get a car going. I'm in Camira, east Ipswich, edge of Brisbane and Ipswich.

Oh nice. Theres a lot of nice bushland in the back of Collingwood park. I do a lot of motorbike riding through the coal mines so I know that bush quite well. There's a few places out there, but a lot of that area would be starting to get overtaken by housing estates now.

Yup....The developers are bulldozing 90% of it. But seem like you can't stop Progress.

There's a pretty good spot over at Springfield in one of the parks near Orion as well.

That's the way it goes unfortunately. A good thing is that in alot of places the land is owned by organizations or 4x4 clubs and what not.

Yeah, there's some nice spots there. The rocky creek bed is great, also theres a nice big hillclimb.

What's your rig setup mate? I'll be getting the new scx, hoping not to have to change the shocks, though I will be getting some Rc4wd oem wheels and either Baja claws or Irok's.
