simpson falls run 2/10

up the creek not the walkin track all the way to the waterfall ,
this is a camelback , backpak , hat & charge all ya batts
& dont forget the mozzie spray & sun cream
theres a few hrs in it so a midday kick off , or if people are keen for earlier say so & well change the start time
any later than midday & we'll be leavin in the dark .
if it rains before it for a few days & is no good it'll be postponed ,
if it rains the day of it , its still on .
just wear good shoes or you will be on youtube lookin like a d1ckhead

we can do that i dont mean to disrupt q rock i just havent looked so if people want we can change the date ?

If its the same weekend as Qrock it's going to be tough for those who want go to both (like me) cause Qrock is all day.

Can we bring the trail drive forward a week to the 25th (the date qrock was on originally)?

Everything of mine is totally waterproofed now (I hope). It's all in one big waterproof box except for servo + motor, neither of which I care about. Motor was free, servo was cheap.

sorry guys. i am out if its the 25th. 2nd oct is a good date and I dont do Q Rock so will probably still go for a run up the stones.

I can't do the 25th as i'm working.... i'll probably still go on the 2nd with Aperture, do the brotherly thing... so if anyone wants to go that cant on the 25th then join us.

I think Nathan was point to people who say that in general. But you might surprise yourself Jay.
Its not that much of a serious comp anyway (well... to most people, some think that its for sheep stations ). There's no prizes, entry fees etc.
Its the similar to the SG comps in atmosphere. Just that its a bit more technical driving cause rock based with penalties for reverse, roll overs, hitting gates etc.


But how about this for an idea? Do the run on the 25th up the creek and then those who want another run come down to Qrock on the 2nd and have a crawl.

i guess if i was going to simpson anyways i may as well go into q-rock then, got to be in it to win it.

So whats the go fellas?
