Re: SEQ Trail thread
Mog is all fixed...the wire snapped halfway down, soldered back together and booyah...it workies!
I now have heat shrink around all the wires to give it a bit of protection.
So the Mog is ready to rock all over again!

Social run: weekend of the 13/11
Okay guys, my turn for a social run.
It will be at the old quarry near my place (check the new hot spots thread for details)
I'm easy for either the 13th (sat) or the 14th (sun)
Either day suits me, so majority rule. Would prefer a arvo run as the sun wont be as bad (not much shade, so bring a hat). But again whatever suits the majority.
Let me know what day would be best and what time?
Cheers, Troy.

Whites Hill Visit
Hi Guys
Just wanted to say thanks heaps for the turn out and the support. I had to strip the truck back and repair a few things as well. Also had to lift a few panels here and there for more clearance from those rocks.
The new paint job is on in earnest now.
Again cheers for the turnout and look forward to catching up with everyone again on the next trail.

Re: SEQ Trail thread
Had fun today even tho the CC01's servo played up. Pulled it apart and a wire had come off. Replaced the servo with a Traxxas waterproof job so will be much better and turning the old servo into a winch. Can't wait to see the videos Gravedigger.

Re: SEQ Trail thread
Yeah thats the next step after I figure out a way to attach a reel to the servo. I will look into ways of attaching a fairlead into the front bumper somehow.

At the moment its a roller lol. I have a small weekly budget that I 'stick' to thereabouts. Next week I have front cvds and and a new diff for the front. The next order will be servo mount/4 link plates from RC Bros but I'll sort the 4 link out after QRock. The following order will be the BL setup just in time for the comp I think. The zuk may have to wait as well.

Re: SEQ Trail thread
You guys still in for a run down my way this weekend?
Went up to the quarry earlier this week, and put 5hours worth of run time on the Mog (didnt even get into the main part)
Forgot how massive this place is and there is some awesome terrain from massive washouts to big hill climbs plus little bit of mud (no water though, unless you count the dam) for those who want to play in that
I'm looking forward to showing you all in person..
I'm thinking Sunday arvo about 2ish...hows that sound to everybody?

Re: SEQ Trail thread
I got a big parcel today, so if I pull my finger out I might have my new honcho In a drivable state, clear shell and standard plastic barwork, but not making any promises lol.
But the time and day sounds good, gives me the most chance to get it ready.

Re: SEQ Trail thread
Yeh Troy, Owen and i will be there around 2pm. I bought the Marion Mog of Rizza this week,so i've started to think of idears to mount on the Losi.
I need a stainless small hinge or piano hinge for the cab.It will be hinged on the front bull bar mount, with the cab going forward to get at the existing batteries.
