Pics up in pic thread. The soccer mom mobile performed really well yesterday with new wheels, tyres and locked diffs. The centre skid bottomed out here and there but thats scale. Luke found it and his truck perfomed well as well except some electrical gremlins upsetting his truck intermittently.

I would be keen for a run on Sunday arvo. New alloy rims on now but the wiring looks like a bowl of spaghetti. Will try to clean it up and get the truck in working order.

I am keen for a run up the creek at Slaughter Falls starting from the bottom carpark.

Simpson Falls would be better as we hit Slaughter a couple of weeks ago. Simpson is more challenging aswell.

I would soooo love to go but since little bub has been born and work asking me to do extra shifts I kinda have have no energy or time. Also the CC01 is still in pieces waiting to be put back together. Sad

I think its just a sh1tty time at the moment. There have been more pressing issues but it seems a bit quiet since I sold my truck. Is everyone waiting with baited breath ?

Come on Jarrod......a few hours won't kill you, and there's not a lot of parts in a cc01.....should'nt take you long to get it going.

Yes at the moment Rizza with the flood disaster......but yeah i've noticed it before that.

Well I snuck out today and put most of it back together so I might be able to make it on Sunday unless I have to work. Just be aware I am still not water proof so no river runs in water for me.

Sunday 2pm would be ideal.

simpson track wont be flooded. just wet and slippery which is good. i am charging the winch batteries.

Well it is all back together now and with a HPI 95T motor for extra torque. Very Happy

I ended up using Traxxas rod ends and they seem to be a lot better than the GPM ones I got a while ago. Should be all good for sunday and it doesn't matter if simpsons creek is up as it is the walking trail we take.

Good onya Jarrod for getting the truck going, we usually take the creek bed path at Simpson not the walking track.Can you drop in to Simpson and see if the creek is up sometime this week mate?

So the setting is.......2pm @ Simpson Falls (if creek is'nt up) top carpark......This Sunday.
If it is up we can go to Slaughter & do Scott's run from the first carpark up till the end.

How does that sound to everyone????

i reckon we still all meet at simpson falls top car park 2pm. if the creek is up then we drive the walking track. if the water is down we drive the creek.

saves on confusion and we are all in the same area. plus i did not get to drive the walking trail properly last time as I stripped two rims. now everything is steel hopefully nothing can break anymore. lol!
