Stepping back for a while

As of last night, I have decided to take a break for a while from wheeling. The truck is up for sale with the battery and so is the radio. I would like to restart with a clean slate. I still have the new lipo charger, all my tools and magazines so I haven't lost faith. It actually depends on how long I can sit still. I'll still be active on the boards and turn up to socials when I can and save some extra cash here and there.

That's a shame rizza. Hopefully we will see you make a comeback with an almighty powerful beast soon.

You will see hehehehe. I understand what you mean Scotty but I haven't and won't fall off the face of the earth Since the hand incident 2 months ago, I had to quit that job and I've been working casual ever since which is back landscaping. When you're not full time, you don't get paid for rain days and considering the amount of rain we've had lately.......... I do have something lined up for the first fortnight of january and if all goes well, I hope to be back in the scene around late March. I didn't think my wife would understand but she does. Once I have stable work, ye ha. As of tonight, the truck is pending and he got a good deal. I got few ideas in me noggin already so its obvious I can't sit still

Just an update, things are looking up Had an intreview on friday so I should hear back this week, hopefully early rather than late (judging by the weather forecast).

Good luck with the interview. I was in the same boat as you between July and November and nearly had to do the same thing (luckily my partner was still working to pay the bills) but am now working and catching up on bills.

Well I start a new job in February So I can start saving for a new truck. I did have the money set aside but we've had to use it for bills. I was hoping to get an scx10 but will have to settle for a cc01 landcruiser I think.

Working as a TA at a printing company. While I am a qualified printer, I spent most of my time concentrating on food packaging, labels and bags. The company I will be working for prints on cardboard so its something entirely different again plus I'm not too proud to start at the bottom (I don't think I will be there long) and the future prospects within the company are positive.

Last was Multi Color Corporation at Capalaba. Was 2 weeks away from going fulltime (I had only been there about a month), then I had a continuation of a mild form of contact dermatitis. Prior to that was FlexPack. Now I'm going to Carter Holt And Harvey.

Well I think I had my first withdrawal symptom. Very early this morning while in bed, I had a dream I was at a beach run. Troy and Scott were there and Scott let me drive his 'mog and somehow I lost it . When trying to find it, I kept finding all these other trucks like mountaineers and a clods with 2.2s. Hhmm odd....

Thats just your sub conscience telling you that you must crawl.
