Re: Dorifto Help - Now sorted
TT01 or E10 are probably the cheaper options to get started, with the TT01 having lots of hop up options.

Re: Dorifto Help - Now sorted
yeah if you want cheap and easy. Go with the TT01. They are sort of like the cc01 of the drift world...
Or even better, get a cc01, strap in some power and go drifting with that.

Re: Dorifto Help - Now sorted
Keep an eye on the driftcity forum for sale threads, there's always some little drift queen having a dummyspit and selling all his gear off.
You could pick up and older top end carbon fibre chassis (Tamiya TRF415, Schumacher MI3, AE TC5) for the price of a new TT01 and it could handle a low turn motor without having to fork out for TT upgrades for it to be able to handle it (bearings, shaft, motor mount.)
Stay away from E10, Great Vigor crap etc... just a money pit that you will out grow in a week anyway.
Plus if you get a decent chassis straight away, you can have a crack at onroad racing when drifting gets inevitably boring.

If the seller seems trustworthy then go for it, yoko's are excellent quality.

The only problem with the yokomo is that parts are hard to come by and can be quite expensive.

Yeh Ads i'm running something really different got it of Arty......a Express Mini 1/10th road runner with mx60 wheels /drift tyres. With A Mini cooper S body.
The equivilent is the Tamia MO5....Look into them, or i would go the TTO1 Tamia. Heaps of parts anywhere and there a decent hard wearing car.

Re: Dorifto Help - Now sorted
I had a talk to pete and it looks like the yokomo's are all gone and they might not be able to get any more for quite a while. They do have a TB03D special edition left which looks quite good. Linky: http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=92206 but if you go and see him they should have something to suit you there.

Re: Dorifto Help - Now sorted
Definately a good price. When I was looking at getting one as a roller with no electrics, wheels or body it was about $450. So yes it is a good price but is there anything wrong with it? With the parts side of things even toyworld stock hpi parts but I would say OZRC would be your best bet.

If thats the hpi pro on drift city.....yeh it a good price, he's hoped it up a fair bit. As for motor- Hobby wing 9T Combo brushless. I've had one & there good value for money. $130. Gerrard will have them.

Yhea thats a wicked price. I would go with the 9t hobbywing/yeah racing/turnigy set up..
But i wouldnt pay 130 for it. Jump on evilbay you can with them up in aus for $100mark, or from hong kong for even cheaper.
