Was a fun trip. Very Happy CC01 lost a wheel so only a short run with it but the Cherokee did quite well.

If you've got GPS go to Cooberrie St in Cornubia and it is to the right at the end of the road is where you park. Then you have to walk down the left hand side following the path and you will walk straight past it. Hope this helps.

Cheers Jarrod

on the right? we always go in on the left at the fence, are you telling me there's an easier way other than up & down that bloody steep path? !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll see what I'm doing tomorrow arvo. What time is everyone else going to be there? Usual midday deal?

I was saying when you get to cooberrie to go right. You still need to go down the steep hill. There is another way in from the bottom which will let you park right near the track but it is padlocked shut.

http://g.co/maps/qa5v5 At the end of Cooberrie st

http://g.co/maps/9gwpe streetview version. I usually wander up that little worn path there to the right of that garden, seems that's where most people go too judging by how worn it is.

The 6 wheeler isn't mine, it's my brothers. There's some stuff about it up on his youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/RumperThumper

I'm not doing anything tomorrow that I know of if anyone wants to head out there about 10am.

well that was.... fun. Went out there at 10:30, about 5.5 volts in the controller, 15 minutes later it's down to 3v and won't connect to the receiver. Oh well at least I got to test what I did while it worked. Was able to get up a couple of spots I couldn't get up on a previous run. Bit more tweaking required and I think it needs a bit more weight, lower down, and further forward to stop the front end losing grip & toppling backwards.

I have a big lead brick that I'm going to screw in there, however I've noticed a hell of a difference in just swapping to the swampers from standard honcho tyres that I had on it last time. I also want to get rid of my waterproof box, it makes the car really top heavy.

Az, I have a challenge for you.

Bring a car that makes it through more than an hours run.... I'm pretty sure that everytime i have come down you're vehicles have failed. LOL

So for those who have not seen the impending runs, weights on the front tyres or rears??

Glad to see a new vehicle in the mix too.... Seen as though we havent been together for a while I would love to see everyone at the next big meet... with all the members we have we should make it big.

Also those with affiliations with other groups spread the word.

Can't wait.
