Sorry I will be out as I will be in NZ till the 15th. Will def try to make the next one as the 40 is getting sick of the shelf it is sitting on at the moment.

Does anyone have a spare 14T pinion for my rig as i stripped the grub nut, and it won't seal on the shaft, thus no drivey for jasey.

If i can get one from someone who's going Sunday to borrow, I can scoot on down

The 14 has been stripped like yours, but i just drilled another hole at 180 and tapped it to m3 again.

Yeha mate no worries. I'll throw it in my tool box...

Its pretty haggard though, so be warned. Still meshes fine and doesnt strip spur gears, just teeth are worn and have a few chips out of them.

We had a drizzle of rain last night, so i'll be keeping an eye on the weather. Hopefully the rain stays away

Address for those that need it is the end of Keidges Rd, Redbank Plains. If that doesn't work, try using Bellbird Park as the suburb.


Make sure you have a look at the map i put up (first post as well as a couple of post's above)

If you are driving in by the track i marked it's not too bad. Take that track and keep following it up.

Stock height/clearance LWB fourbys might have some issues with the last breakover to get into the the quarry. The belly of Scottyb's paj cleared it by about an inch, Big Fella's shorty paj made it no issues (other than some traction) and same with Artii's shorty 40.

If you don't have a fourby and are taking a normal car, park next to the pumping station and walk in from the bottom.
Another option you can park at my house and walk down to the quarry (about a 5min walk down hill there, but all up hill on the way back), or arrange with someone to give you a lift down to the quarry and back.
If anybody want to leave their road car at my house, let me know and i'll give you my address.

I highly suggest playing in google maps for a bit to get a feel for where you need to drive in.

The track in is not that bad, my #### box made it just had the usual wheels of the ground traction problems that come with a leaf sprung shorty
