Recovery Equipment
So I have started to put make some recovery gear. I'm happy to make these available to those interested for a reasonable fee. I'm not in this to make a squillion, just want to cover costs and make a few bucks to fund some builds.
Here is what I have so far:
Here is the ground anchor - $15 + P&H,
Winch extension/trunk protector - $10 + P&H,
Snatch block - $10 + P&H.
Or you can buy them as a kit for $30 inc P&H.
I can make the extensions/protectors to your desired length as required. Also I will be making some occy straps soon too.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Mods if this is the wrong place for this please let me know.
Cheers,
Rich

Snatch blocks arrived yesterday, with some proto type occys. Very stoked, real happy with them. Rich does good work and is easy as to deal with.

PM Answered.
I have posted a video in the video section which includes some winching using all this gear. For reference my truck weighs just under 5kg and the drag brake was working when winching. My only issue is stalling the winch due to not enough power to the winch. So I will be fitting a small batt pack from a losi for the time being so it has its own dedicated power supply.
Here is a link to the video.

Re: Recovery Equipment
Thanks for the comments lads!
Glad your happy with them Troy, hope to see some footage of them in action.
I'm going to give the winch its own power supply to give it more ompf and then I'll try a vertical lift. Not to sure how the b/less motor will go, but we'll see. If I need to I'll use 2 snatch blocks that should get it off the ground. I'll post the footage, pass or fail, it should be good to see. I'm glad they put in a spare motor and g/box with these winches.
