ordering from the states...
not sure if its just a load of sh!t, but has anyone heard anything about australians not being able to order from the usa soon? mainly traxxas, hpi and AXIAL i think. i was talking to my local hs yesterday about it and he recons its going to happen from what his suplier has told him.
There is a 3 page thread on aus rc about it.(mainly people having a wine but)

Meh....doesnt surprise me in the least. Since a few manufacturers pulled the pin on Horizon Hobbies there must be a new Aussie distributor cracking the shites about everybody going overseas to buy stock
If it's true, its only going to effect shops buying stock from OS, which is going to drive prices up even more as the Aussie distributor will be able to charger what ever the fawk they want with no competition.
As far as i know they cant stop individuals buying from OS. I'm pretty sure if you keep purchases under a certain amount and not use a business name to purchase it should fall outside of any legal ruling like this.
Get it direct from OS and you're golden. But i do feel sorry for the small LHS' that rely on small specialised orders to stay afloat.
