Short Y harness
I need a short Y harness for the servo of the micro so I can power the LEDs and was wondering if anyone knows where to get one. It needs to be no longer the 50mm with 1x male to 2x female 3 pin servo connectors. All the ones I can find are about 200mm long at the smallest but this would be way too much. Was thinking of buying the longer one and then cutting it down but my soldering skills lack the skill part.

Re: Short Y harness
there's a 2 ways to do it Jarrod.
Buy and long one and shorten it, or buy bare servo wires and then get servo plugs and crimp your own.
I can work out costing for materials for you if you want mate.
EDIT: Cheapest price in Australia i can get materials to make one from scratch is about $7.
You can get premade y-leads for less and shorten them.

I don't mind spending some to get it. I will have to come over and get you to do one for me and I might get you to shorten some other leads for me as well if thats alright?

Yeah thats no issue man. I just don't have the materials yet..
With this y-lead is it actually powering a servo or only LED's?

It is basically to piggyback of the servo to power some leds (4 x 3mm) so one of the leads will need the 3 wires whereas the other only requires 2 to power the leds. I might buy the longer one and just get you to modify if thats cool.

Yup gotcha..Easy done
Sall good man bother buying one.
I've got gear on the way to make one, should work out to the same price as buying one straight up. But this will be custom (and fully sik uleh).
